BEFORE:

Enjoy a beverage when you arrive as each of you fill out a brief intake form and meet your practitioners in our cozy reception area.

We discuss your preferences and take a few moments to learn more about your needs, preferred massage style (Swedish, Deep-Tissue, Esalen, and/or LomiLomi), desired pressure and crucial focal points.

DURING:

Proceed to the couples massage area and remove your clothing and accessories.

Then, lay down on one of the comfortable massage tables, beneath the soft sheets and begin to unwind by taking a few deep breaths.

Relax in a warm, intimately lit room side by side with your special someone while delightful aromas dance through the air.

Listen to a cool selection of music designed exclusively for couples while you're expertly massaged from top to bottom for an hour, hour and a half or two hours.

Unwind while our talented massage duo proceeds to remove your aches and kinks. Based on your preference, we can schedule a male and female practitioner or two male practitioners to massage you and your loved one.

Throughout the massage, you can talk to one another, hold hands, chat with your therapist, or just enjoy the experience in silence.

Massages are meant to be enjoyable on so many different levels - the last thing you need is to be in an uptight, stuffy environment. It's cool to relax, decompress and let yourself laugh. This is all about making the two of you happy, relaxed and completely comfortable!

Couples are treated to a full body massage. So, we'll be sure to include your arms and hands, thighs, legs and feet, back and buttocks, head, scalp, neck and shoulders. One of our goals is to melt away your stress and put you into a state of bliss.

Our couples massages are romantic, professional and sensual without being too syrupy or pretentious. You BOTH DESERVE this down time, so enjoy every second of it!

AFTER:

You will both feel really really really good and need a minute or two to come back to earth. We leave the room so that you can redress and collect yourselves (and think about the afternoon or evening that awaits the two of you after you leave).

You'll meet with Brian to take care of the session (we take cash or credit cards; you can also pay for the session ahead of time).

You also get chocolates and flowers to enhance your mood on your way home (or wherever the next stage of your date may lead to).

Have you considered an Alternating Couples Massage?

Alternating Couples Massage is a phenomenal therapy that brings couples closer together and celebrates the joy of massage.

Instead of two practitioners and two tables, you get one practitioner and one table for BOTH of you.

When the session starts, the two of you will choose who will be on the massage table first (when in doubt a round or to of "rock, paper, scissors" is a fair way to decide).

The "winner" removes their clothes, gets on the heated massage table, and is draped with a big, soft towel.

Then the person designated to give the massage will mirror Brian -- your therapist & instructor-- as he AND you massage your date, partner, or spouse for 45 minutes to an hour.

All you have to do is follow Brian's lead and instruction. In the process, you actually learn how to massage AND your partner is treated to a delectable 4-hand massage.

During the Alternating Couples Massage Brian will show you:

Body mechanics - how to stand and deliver deeper pressure without hurting yourself or your massage partner or getting fatigued

Hand & arm positioning - to get to those stubborn muscles and relax your partner from top to bottom

The best massage techniques & styles to use on your partner - A little bit of Swedish massage mixed with some on-table Asian Shiatsu, mixed with a little Hawaiian LomiLomi plus special touches to make your partner feel appreciated.

Easy ideas for creating the right environment to make your couples massages effective, memorable and romantic.

Then, you'll switch.

It's then YOUR turn to get massaged. So, you'll get on the massage table and your partner and Brian will begin to massage you!

Your partner learns how how to massage you and you reap the benefits.

You get the professional touch and guidance of a trained therapist along with the loving touch of your partner or spouse.

It's an affirming experience and will help the two of you master the art of non-verbal communication.

Plus, it feels wonderful!

If you prefer that just ONE of you gets massaged for the entire session, that works too. Your practitioner will guide either of you in giving an outstanding massage! It's okay to be selfish every once in a while. And it's a great way to show your partner how much you appreciate them!

Suggestions:

Be sure to wear loose, comfortable clothing so that you can move around easily while you massage your partner.

Also, you don't need worry about makeup or putting too much product in your hair since the massage will probably involve a scalp and face massage.

Just take a shower before you arrive, slip on some comfortable clothes and arrive a few minutes before your session is scheduled to begin. Please go easy or avoid perfume or cologne!

If both of you love the idea of being able to get and give a great massage then this is a great option!

Use it as a surprise date or as dynamic way to "break the ice" with someone you've just met. Or use it as a wonderful way to reconnect to that long-time spouse, friend or partner.

If either of you is uncomfortable with being touched, gets jealous easily, or is overly possessive, then this might NOT be a good surprise. Discuss it with your massage partner BEFORE making the appointment. We want this to be a POSITIVE experience for everyone.

We incorporate these styles to make sure you feel absolutely amazing from top to bottom and feel recharged, relaxed and balanced....

DELUXE SWEDISH MASSAGE
Our Deluxe Swedish massage is a vigorous system of treatment designed to energize your body by stimulating circulation.

Here at Milwaukee's Best Massage, we incorporate deeper pressure where necessary to relieve tightness caused by trigger points. You are covered with a sheet and/or towel throughout the session, with only the parts being worked on exposed at any given time.

ON-TABLE MASSAGE & YOGA STYLE STRETCHING
The on-table work and stretching is a form of Thai Massage. It is a fairly rigorous massage style (often called the Lazy Person's Yoga) performed by the therapist. It is designed to loosen up trigger points, ease tension along the entire upper and lower back and improve range of motion (arms, legs, hips, neck and shoulders).

ESALEN MASSAGE
This approach combines classic Swedish massage with sensory awareness practice and slow, flowing t'ai chi. The Esalen approach uses long, flowing strokes, working more of the body at the same time.

Your therapist may also incorporate light stretches into the session to promote better range of motion. We work with you throughout the session to release tightness, promote relaxation and mitigate energy blockage.

LOMILOMI
This system of Hawaiian massage uses very large, broad movements that sweep across your body, simulating ocean waves. Our tools include two-handed, forearm, and elbow application of strokes.
